Jesus Day Retreat ~ April 23, 2021 our Second Graders will celebrate their Jesus Day Retreat from 10:00-2:00 at the Gathering Space in preparation for First Communion. A blue information sheet will come home asking for volunteers for helpers, station leaders, group leaders, and providing materials. If you can help in anyway please return this form. Your help is greatly appreciated in order to make this a wonderful retreat for our Second Graders. An informational parent letter will then be sent home inside a brown envelope. Please read closely the informational letter. If you indicated on the blue form to volunteer or provide supplies it will also be included in the envelope with the dates we need them for.*Parents should send back their letter(*) and letters in the envelope the week before our retreat.* May Crowning ~ Wednesday, May 19, 2021 We will celebrate May Crowning after 9:00 Mass. Second graders need to wear their First Communion clothes to school on this day. They will walk up in the procession placing a flower at the statue of Mary. After the ceremony we will be taking a whole group picture in the gathering space. Parents may attend May Crowning. Afterwards, students will change into regular uniform & school shoes. Parents can help change clothes & take home First Communion clothes at this time. Students not making their First Communion are to wear dress-up clothes on this day as they too will be participating in May Crowning. |
